Last Time Out
App State fell to No. 1 North Carolina in its most recent outing on Tuesday. The Mountaineers wrapped up a stretch in which they faced three nationally-ranked opponents from the ACC in the first four contests of the season.
A Win Would

Battle Tested
App State's schedule has certainly tested the student-athletes thus far, as the combined record for the first five opponents of the season is 23-5. App has faced eight players who were ranked in singles play and two doubles tandems that were nationally-ranked.
Scouting Wofford
The Terriers are 1-1 to start the season, and will face Charleston Southern on Friday before facing the Mountaineers. Wofford's lone win came against North Carolina Central, 6-1, its most recent outing. Brittney Wilbur leads the team with a pair of victories, while four other student-athletes have one singles victory. Wofford is 6-6 on the season in singles. Jenna Vroman/Lilie Steryous and Emely Kahrs/Wilbur lead the doubles attack with one win each.
