"We are so excited about the addition of Deshon Parker to the Mountaineer family. Deshon is a great kid and has a great presence about him. He is a true floor general and provides leadership and play making ability to our program that we have always been impressed with. He provides valuable experience with him already playing and contributing at the Division I level. His work ethic and dedication will allow him to make a huge improvement in his overall game during his sit out year. We are excited about Deshon and his future at App State as he will become an instant fan favorite. Please join us in welcoming Deshon, his parents Toni and Yelvis and his brother Demond to the App State family."
