Women's Basketball Invitational in 2018-19, 51 victories and five Sun Belt Tournament wins.

App State struggled on offense in a 57-51 setback to Louisiana, as the Mountaineers missed a slew of layups and opportunities inside.
Michaela Porter was the most efficient Mountaineer on the evening scoring a career-high 14 points, shooting 4-of-7 from the field and 5-for-6 from the charity stripe.
Pre Stanley scored 12 with half of her points coming at the line.
What to Watch for
- In the past two games (0-2), the Mountaineers are averaging 7.5 assists. See if the Apps can move the ball for easy opportunities.
- In the game against Louisiana, missed layups and easy shots highlighted the loss for App State. Watch if the Black and Gold can convert inside.
- Porter is hitting her stride after scoring a career-high 14 points against the Ragin' Cajuns. Porter is averaging eight points (3.2 overall) on 44.4 percent shooting and 81.3 percent shooting from the line over the last four games. See if she can be a spark off the bench.
- Over the last six games, App State is shooting 77.9 percent from the charity stripe, which would be first in the Sun Belt. App State is fourth in free throw percentage overall at 69.4 percent. Watch if App can continue to excel at the line.
- App State is being outscored by 14 points in the first quarter over the last two games, while the team is tied in scoring over the next three periods with its opponents. Watch if the Mountaineers can get off to a quick start.

- The Warhawks are coming off an 88-69 loss to Coastal Carolina on Thursday.
- Gara Beth Self poured in a career-high 28 points with 15 coming in the third quarter, when the Warhawks cut the deficit to only six.
- Whitney Goins scored 14 points, while Amber Thompson chipped in with 10.
- Kierra Crockett led the way with 10 rebounds.
- ULM's lone win came in a 58-55 triumph over Texas State.
- The Warhawks are one of the top shot-blocking teams, as they're fifth in the Sun Belt averaging five swats per game.
- Thompson leads the team in scoring at a clip of 10.9 per game, while Crockett is pulling down 6.8 rpg.
Series History
App State is 8-0 all-time against ULM. The Warhawks are the only team in the conference the Apps have yet to lose to. Last season in Holmes,
Lainey Gosnell scored a career-high 26 points to lead App to a 56-51
victory.
