BOONE, N.C. — App State's annual Yosef Club Golf Classic is open for registration. The event is scheduled for Friday, July 17, at Jefferson Landing in Jefferson, N.C.
Breakfast and check-in begin at 8 a.m., with a shotgun start commencing at 9 a.m.
Proceeds from the event provide scholarship support to App State student-athletes. To register,

Registration is $175 per golfer and $650 per team. A title sponsor is $5,000, a golf cart sponsor is $2,500 and a playing card sponsor is $1,000. For more information regarding these sponsorships, call 828-262-3108.
The Yosef Club Golf Classic is also providing hole sponsors at $200 and flag stick sponsors at $250. Hole sponsors receive a custom sign placed at a tee box. Flag stick sponsors receive a custom flag placed on the flag stick — flags can be taken home after the event or delivered the following week.
Jefferson Landing pro shop prizes will be given for the top three team scores ($500 - 1st, $300 - 2nd, $200 - 3rd) in three divisions (men's, couples and corporate), and there will also be awards for the longest drive and closest to the pin. When signing in, in addition to the golf, registration includes a gift bag, breakfast, lunch and the opportunity to connect with App State student-athletes, coaches and athletics staff.
Tickets will be sold for a putting contest with a one-of-a-kind App State Athletics prize. Various games will be on the course throughout the event.
Built by Larry Nelson in 1991, Jefferson Landing consistently ranks among the Carolina's best courses. It is located on 170 acres of beautiful rolling hills with seven points and direct access to water on 15 holes. From the longest tees, it offers 7,114 yards of golf with a par-72 layout.
