Women's Soccer to Face ULM in First Round of Sun Belt Championships

BOONE, N.C. - App State women's soccer will face ULM in the first round of the 2020 Sun Belt Championships on Monday, Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. (ET) in Foley, Ala. 

The winner will advance to the quarterfinal round to play the first seed from the West Division in Arkansas State on Tuesday at 5 p.m. (ET). All games will be broadcasted live on ESPN+.

Appalachian finished the season 4-8-1 and 4-6 in league action while winning two of its previous three contests going into the postseason. The Black and Gold finished fourth in the East Division with 12 points. 

ULM finished the season with an 0-9 mark during the season. It's the first time the Apps will play a West Divisional opponent this season.

The Mountaineers are 5-0-1 all-time against the Warhawks. App State defeated ULM last season in Monroe, 3-0.
