BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State Men's Golf will play host to a nine-team field for this Sunday and Monday's Cape Fear National Intercollegiate in Leland, N.C.
The tournament will be held at the par-72, 7,217-yard Cape Fear National course that is regarded as one of the finest in North Carolina. Teams will play two rounds Sunday and the final round Monday. Live scoring will be available at

Joining App State in the field will be teams from Central College (Iowa), Hampton, North Carolina A&T, North Carolina Central, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina Beaufort and Towson.
The Mountaineers are at the midpoint of their spring season. Following the Cape Fear tournament, head coach
Bo Redman's squad will have two more tournaments to prepare for the April 21-24 Sun Belt Championships in Miramar, Fla.
