BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State Baseball is now scheduled to play its 2019 home opener against Manhattan on Saturday afternoon and conclude that three-game series with a Sunday doubleheader at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium.
Game 1 is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, and the Sunday doubleheader is set to start at noon, with Game 3 beginning shortly after the conclusion of Game 2.
Saturdays at Smith Stadium are Winter Gear Collectible Days, with fans receiving a different item of winter gear per each game attended. On Sunday, the first 100 fans through the gate will receive a free biscuit, and faith community members can bring a Sunday program to the gate to receive a $3 ticket.
