BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State Athletics is auctioning five game-worn football helmets beginning Friday, Feb. 1. The auction will run through Sunday, Feb. 17, at
appstatesports.com/auctions.
Five different helmets will be available. All five helmets were worn in App State victories during the 2018 season.
The selected helmets include the following:
- White helmet without a stripe, worn at Charlotte (45-9 win)
- White helmet with a stripe, worn at Arkansas State (35-9 win)
- Heroes' Day helmet, worn against Gardner-Webb (72-7 win)
- Breast Cancer Awareness helmet, worn against Louisiana (27-17 win)
- Signature black helmet with a block 'A,' worn in the Sun Belt Championship game (30-19 win over Louisiana) and New Orleans Bowl (45-13 win over Middle Tennessee).
Each helmet will start with a minimum bid of $300.
