It will be the first glimpse for fans to check out the 2018 Mountaineers, as the first friendly earlier this week took place in Johnson City against ETSU. App fell to the hosts, 4-1, on Wednesday.

WCU made an impressive run to the SoCon Tournament title game before falling to UNCG in a 1-0 affair. The Catamounts are led by Megan McCallister, who scored a team-high 10 goals and 26 points. Jacquelyn Gnass is back for her junior season after 1,423 minutes of action, stopping 90 shots and boasting a 7-6-1 mark. WCU was picked fourth in the SoCon Preseason poll, while McCallister and Sayres McKenna were selected to the SoCon All-Preseason team.Â
