BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University baseball will hold an organizational meeting for those interested in trying out for a walk-on position on the team on Friday, Sept. 9 at 3 p.m. at Beaver Field at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium (located behind the Broyhill Inn and Conference Center on ASU's campus).

ASU students interested in trying out for the Mountaineer baseball team must attend the meeting, during which tryout procedures and requirements will be detailed. No workouts will be held at that time, so attendees do not need to bring any equipment.
