2024: Served as the Mountaineers' closer, making 23 appearances in relief...Went 3-0 with a 5.08 ERA and recorded four saves...Struck out 32 batters in 28.1 innings of work...Did not allow a run in each of his first six appearances, striking out nine batters in six innings over that span...Earned first win of the season against Marshall on March 29...Tossed career-high 2.2 innings at Arkansas State on April 21, inducing a game-ending double play to secure a tie...Escaped bases loaded jam in Sun Belt tournament game vs Coastal Carolina to avoid elimination on May 23...Struck out season-high three batters vs Gardner-Webb, High Point and Georgia Southern...Did not allow a run over final three appearances, including two at the Sun Belt tournament.

2023: Went 3-0 in 13 appearances out of the Mountaineers' bullpen...Struck out 14 batters in 10.1 innings of work...Escaped bases-loaded jam to strand three inherited runners Feb. 19 vs Queens and again on Feb. 26 vs North Carolina A&T in extra-inning win...Struck out the side at UNC Asheville on April 4...Tossed 0.2 scoreless innings against Troy in the Sun Belt Tournament on May 26 to earn the win.

Prior to App State: Redshirtted at Wake Forest in 2022... A standout at West Forsyth High School, where he garnered 2021 Preseason First Team All-American recognition by Perfect Game, after earning second-team honors the year prior. After not pitching in 2022, Lewis spent the summer with the Vermont Lake Monsters of the Futures League where he struck out 16 batters in 16 innings of work, running his fastball up to 93 miles-per-hour. He compliments his heater with a slider and a changeup.
