Biography

2018: Appeared in 10 contests with a career-high six matches ... played in 359 minutes ... scored her first App State goal against Big Ten foe Maryland (8/24) on the road ... attempted six shots with one coming on target. 

2017: Saw action in 15 games on the season and made a personal-high three starts…. logged 393 minutes of playing time including a season-high 83 minutes on the pitch against Campbell (Aug. 20).

2016: Appeared in six matches, getting her first career start against Coastal Carolina (Sept. 18) … finished with one assist and two shots … recorded her lone assist against ACC foe Maryland (Sept. 4) on the equalizer goal by Erin Settle in the 57th minute.

2015: Saw action in eight matches, logging 178 minutes … recorded her lone shot on the season against George Mason (Sept. 6) … it was on goal.

High School: A defender from Winston-Salem, N.C., Murphy has been a two-time all-conference and all-region player, as well as, an all-state nominee. Murphy earned the top Defensive Player award as a junior, while also claiming the Iron Spartan award. Member of N.C. Fusion ECNL U18.

Personal: Born Jan. 2, 1997 (18 years old) ... daughter to Sandra and Chris Murphy ... one sibling, Lauren Murphy (14).
