2026: Played and started 52 games, slashing .310/.432/.435 with 10 doubles and five home runs...Tallied 44 RBIs and scored 46 runs...Drew 28 walks and was hit by pitch 18 times, compared to just 38 strikeouts...Hit first home run of the season Feb. 14 vs Canisius and homered the following week against ETSU...Tallied an 11-game hitting streak Feb. 28 – March 22 and another 10-game streak April 17-May 5...Went 3-for-4 with a 440-foot home run against Louisiana May 10...Homered again the following game at Georgia State May 14. Hit safely in 34 of his final 43 games and reached base in 29 of his final 30 games...Led the team with six outfield assists.

2025: Appeared in 42 games as a true freshman, making 36 starts…Slashed .284/.350/.362/.712…Batted .321 in league play… Registered five hits and four runs scored across first two career starts against UMass Lowell Feb 22-23… Tallied seven-game hitting streak from Feb. 22 through March 4, going 10-for-29 (.345) with 6 RBI and 8 runs scored… Added six-game hitting streak March 28 through April 9 going 11-for-20 (.550)…Went 5-for-6 against Old Dominion, including a career-high four-hit effort and his first career home run in game two of a doubleheader on March 29.

Prior to App State: Luft joins the Mountaineers out of North Broward Prep where he was rated by Perfect Game as the eighth-best third baseman in the state of Florida as well as being a top 50 overall player in the state. Luft led North Broward prep to three state titles in four years as well as a runner-up finish, totaling 98 wins across four seasons. He earned All-county and All-District honors in each of his four seasons and batted over .330 each of his final three high school seasons. He finished his four-year career with eight homers 74 RBIs and over 100 hits. He also walked as many times as he struck out across four seasons.
