2007: Became ASU’s first all-American in 19 years when he was named to Collegiate Baseball’s Louisville Slugger third team ... also named all-state and first-team all-Southern Conference ... set Appalachian records with 30 doubles, 67 runs scored, 138 total bases and 252 at-bats ... 30 doubles were good for second nationally, only two behind Florida State’s Tony Thomas, Jr., the Louisville Slugger National Co-Player of the Year ... 30 two-baggers also fell just one shy of the SoCon record, set by East Tennessee State’s Caleb Moore in 2004 ... became just the second player in ASU history with 90 hits in a season, joing Chris Behne, who rapped out a school-record 97 hits in 2000 ... hit .361 on the season, good for second on the team and 12th in the SoCon ... tied for second on team with 25 multi-hit games and ranked third with 11 multi-RBI performances ... was 6-for-9 with the bases loaded ... started all 59 games for the Mountaineers (33 in RF and 26 in LF) ... hit third in all 59 contests ... maintained .500 batting average through 16 games and kept average above .400 until the 27th game of the season ... strung together four-straight games with three or more hits against North Carolina A&T and Dayton (Feb. 28-March 4) to raise batting average to its highest point of the season at .562 ... began impressive string by going 4-for-4 with three doubles, two RBI and two runs scored against N.C. 2006: Ranked fifth on team with .301 batting average ... also was among team leaders with eight stolen bases (2nd), .491 slugging percentage (4th), and 20 walks (4th), five home runs (t-4th) and .376 on-base percentage (5th) ... tallied 12 multi-hit and seven multi-RBI performances ... went 2-for-4 with a double, home run, two RBI and two runs scored in loss at nationally ranked North Carolina ... had two hits, including a home run, and season high-tying three RBI in win over Canisius (March 12) ... put together best performance of season April 8 vs. UNC Greensboro, going 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, a home run, three RBI and two runs scored ... went 3-for-5 with a double and run scored at Virginia Tech (April 12) ... had ASU season-long 14-game hitting streak from April 15-May 14, raising batting average from .290 to .324 ... went 3-for-5 with a double and run in win over Longwood (May 10) ... had two one-inning relief stints on the mound ... allowed one run on two hits in two combined innings versus College of Charleston (March 17) and at N.C.
