Biography

2012: Started all 18 matches for the Mountaineers in the goal…posted 140 saves on the season for a .673 save percentage…named NorPac East Defensive Player of the Week two straight weeks…posted a career-high 18 saves against Wake Forest…earned her first career shut out against Ball State (Oct. 14).

2011: Made seven appearances as a reserve goalkeeper ... made a season-high six saves against Rider ... tallied three saves at Louisville and Davidson.

2010: Appeared in five games as a reserve goalkeeper ... posted a seaon-high four saves against Siena ... made two saves at Lock Haven ... earned NHFCA national academic honors.

2009: Did not see action as a true freshman.

High School: Three-year letterman in field hockey at Kentucky Country Day ... named to the senior all-star team, All-Kentucky Select second team, and was a nominee for the Bunny Daughtery Defensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2008 ... also lettered four times in softball and three times in basketball.

Personal: Full name is Sarah Hays Anderson ... daughter of David Anderson and Laura Horsey ... psychology major.
