2016: Saw action in 48 games, with 45 starts, all behind the plate … batted .205 in 127 at-bats … caught 16 would-be base-stealers on the season, which is the most by an Appalachian State catcher since Kevin Butler threw out 15 in 2005 … the 16 base-stealers caught is tied-third in the Sun Belt … ranks third since 2004 in catching base-stealers with 29 … second on team with 286 putouts and 339 chances … tied-third in fielding double plays (seven) … recorded 26 hits for nine RBI including four doubles and one homer … with a good eye in the box, drew 18 walks on the year … crossed the plate 14 times … recorded 286 putouts for the season … turned in one of his best performances against UT Arlington (May 15), going 2-3 for three RBI and one run, also getting four putouts on the game. 

2015: Appeared in 44 games with 37 starts as a true freshman, all at catcher … struggled at the plate as a rookie but established himself as one of the Sun Belt’s finest defensive catchers … threw out 13 would-be base-stealers on the season, which is tied for the most by an Appalachian State catcher since current Chicago White Sox farmhand Jeremy Dowdy threw out 14 in 2010 … Seagle’s 22.7-percent caught-stealing rate (13-of-47) was the best by a Mountaineer since Dowdy threw out 29.5 percent of would-be stealers as a senior in 2012 … had multi-hit games against Troy (April 3) and South Alabama (April 11) … drove in two runs at longtime rival Western Carolina on April 21.
