2008: Appeared in 29 games, including 11 starts in left field ... also saw time as a pinch-hitter, pinch runner and a defensive replacement at shortstop, second base and in left field ... hit .234 but drew seven walks and was hit by a pitch for a .345 on-base percentage ... scored multiple runs on six occasions ... turned in his best offensive performance of the season with a 2-for-4 effort and two runs in the second game of the season versus NC State (Feb. 23) ... made only two errors in the field.

2007: Perhaps the team’s most versatile player, appeared in 47 games, making 41 starts (22 at 2B, 19 at 3B) ... ranked fourth on squad with seven stolen bases (13 attempts) ... laid down team-best seven sacrifice bunts and also led team with 11 total sacrifices ... hit .375 against left-handed pitching ... hit .327 with two outs ... started off the season slowly at the plate, hitting .250 or below for the first half of the season ... came on to hit safely in 17 of his final 22 starts of the season, compiling a lofty .342 average during the stretch run ... twice reached as high as .299 before finishing season with .289 average ... legged out 11 doubles in just 149 at-bats ... drove in a season-best three runs in back-to-back games at East Tennessee State (March 27) and Furman (March 30) ... three RBI at ETSU came courtesy of a three-run home run ... blasted season’s only other long ball in a 2-for-5, two-run, two-RBI performance versus UNC Asheville (April 24) ... a week later, torched UNCA with a 2-for-3, three-run effort (May 2) ... matched season-high with three runs in 2-for-5, two-RBI performance at Davidson (May 8) ... committed just two errors over final 24 games of the season.
