“I’m not sure if I’ve coached a harder worker than Becca. The fact that she worked so hard in rehab after her ankle surgery last spring and that she was cleared a month and a half ahead of schedule proves that. As one of the two true middle hitters on our roster this fall, she will have a big offensive load to handle, but I have no doubt that she will do just that.”

2008 (Junior)
• Recorded 117 kills on the season
• Tallied a career-high 10 kills twice in back to back contests against Georgia Southern and Western Carolina
• Had at least one kill in 20 of 21 contests
• Notched a season-high five block assists against both Davidson and Chattanooga
• Stuffed at least one block in 15 different matches and at least one dig in 17
• Recorded 40 blocks on the season
• Saw action in 21 matches
• Named to the SoCon fall academic all-conference team

2007 (Sophomore)
• Appeared in 59 games over 16 matches with 14 starts
• Ranked third on the team with 0.75 blocks per game

• Recorded at least two kills in every match except one, the home contest against Western Carolina (Oct. 19) in which she played only one game
• Averaged eight blocks per match in two meetings with College of Charleston

2006 (Freshman)
• Played in 20 matches during her rookie season, starting two
• Played in 31 games
• Had arguably her best game at The Citadel (Oct. 22) where she recorded four of her career highs
• Had nine kills, 17 total attacks, three service aces and four digs
• Added a career-high five block assists against Idaho State (Sept. 2)
• Made the Appalachian honor roll

High School
• Was a three-year letterwinner at Franklin High School in Franklin, N.C. under head coach Anna Shields
• Was a three-time all-conference and two-time all-Western North Carolina honoree
• Earned MVP honors as a junior and senior and was named the Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Year as a senior
• Averaged 18 kills and 5.5 blocks per match as a senior
• Also earned two letters apiece in basketball and track and field
• Earned all-conference basketball honors and team MVP as a senior
