BOONE, N.C. – App State currently has 10 football alums on NFL rosters, including Atlanta Falcons center Ryan Neuzil, who played every offensive snap in Week 1.

Played every offensive snap at center for Michael Penix, Neuzil allowed only two pressures in 51 pass-blocking snaps (according to PFF) in a 23-20 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Akeem Davis-Gaither – Arizona Cardinals (LB)
Starting in his debut with his new team, Davis-Gaither recorded seven combined tackles, including one solo and two assisted tackles on special teams. Playing 37% of defensive snaps and 70% of special teams snaps, he also recorded one pass defended on Juwan Johnson.
Sam Martin – Carolina Panthers (P)
In his debut for the Carolina Panthers, Martin recorded two punts, both landing inside the 20-yard line, with the longest being 56 yards. Martin also appeared as the holder on a field goal and an extra point, both of which were good. In the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Martin attempted an onside kick, which was recovered by the Jaguars.
Nick Hampton — Los Angeles Rams (OLB)
Playing in 65% of special teams snaps, Hampton recorded an assisted tackle on special teams in a 14-9 win over the Houston Texans.
D'Marco Jackson – Chicago Bears (LB)
Playing in 72% of special teams snaps, Jackson made his debut with the Bears on "Monday Night Football" in a 27-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
Kendall Lamm – Miami Dolphins (OL)
Lamm was inactive for the Week 1 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
Shemar Jean-Charles — Seattle Seahawks (CB)
Jean-Charles was signed back to the practice squad by the Seattle Seahawks in late August.
Ahmani Marshall — Cleveland Browns (RB)
Marshall made the practice squad as an undrafted free agent.
Cooper Hodges – Jacksonville Jaguars (OL)
Hodges is on injured reserve while recovering from a knee injury from last season.
Jalen McLeod — Jacksonville Jaguars (LB)
McLeod, who played three seasons at App State, is currently on the injured reserve list due to a lower-body injury suffered in practice in August but will be eligible to return later in the season.
