BOONE, N.C. – App State currently boasts 10 football alums on NFL rosters, highlighted by the Week 12 performances from Chicago Bears linebacker D'Marco Jackson and Arizona Cardinals linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither.

D'Marco Jackson – Chicago Bears (LB)
Making his first career start, wearing the "Green Dot" to make the defensive calls and playing 100 percent of defensive snaps for a short-handed Bears team against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jackson posted a career-best 15 tackles in Chicago's 31-28. One of his stops was a tackle for loss against running back Kenneth Gainwell on a third down, forcing a punt in the third quarter, and head coach Ben Johnson awarded Jackson with a game ball in the locker room.
Akeem Davis-Gaither – Arizona Cardinals (LB)
Starting at linebacker against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Davis-Gaither made an impressive, diving interception of Trevor Lawrence in third quarter and finished with seven tackles.
Sam Martin – Carolina Panthers (P)
Martin attempted four punts against the San Francisco 49ers, landing two inside the 20 and producing a long kick of 55 yards.
Ryan Neuzil – Atlanta Falcons (OL)
Playing in 100% of the snaps as the starting at center, Neuzil helped carve out an 100-plus-yard rushing attack in the 24-10 win over the New Orleans Saints.
Nick Hampton — Los Angeles Rams (OLB)
Seeing action in 16 defensive snaps, Hampton recorded three combined tackles, also recording a tackle on special teams.
Kendall Lamm – Miami Dolphins (OL)
The Miami Dolphins had a bye.
Tyrek Funderburk — Minnesota Vikings (CB)
Funderburk was signed by the Vikings after a stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sept. 11.
Shemar Jean-Charles — Seattle Seahawks (CB)
Jean-Charles was signed to the Seattle Seahawks practice squad in late August.
Cooper Hodges – Jacksonville Jaguars (OL)
Hodges remains on injured reserve while recovering from a knee injury suffered last season.
Jalen McLeod — Jacksonville Jaguars (LB)
McLeod, who played three seasons at App State, is on the injured reserve list due to a lower-body injury suffered in practice in August but will be eligible to return later in the season.
