After a scoreless opening half in which App State held a 4-1 edge in shots on target, Marshall (7-5-3, 3-2-3) broke through in the 69th minute when Tiggi Gent scored off assists from Marcella Alves and Madison Townes. Alves doubled the lead nine minutes later, converting a corner kick service from Fernanda Dantas.
Freshman goalkeeper

Freshman defender
