BOONE, N.C. - The App State women's track & field team is set for its third trip to the JDL Fast Track this season, as it makes an appearance at the Camel City Invitational. Friday's action starts at 1 p.m. On Saturday, field events will start at 9:30 a.m. and running events will start at 10 a.m. A live stream of the meet will be available on +Plus.

The Mountaineers made an appearance at Liberty's Brant Tolsma Invitational on Jan. 19-20 in Lynchburg, Va. App State tallied 28 top-10 finishes on the weekend in addition to a meet record from graduate student
Ashlee Osaji in the women's triple jump.
Osaji recorded a meet record of 12.19m (39' 11.75") in her debut in the Black and Gold in the women's triple jump. On the track, senior
Taylor Smith, freshman
Jayla Adams, and junior
Mariah McCord took the top-three spots in the women's 60 meters, clocking times of 7.53, 7.59, and 7.73, respectively.
Taylor Smith also placed second in the women's long jump with a leap of 5.08m (19' 0.25"). Freshman
Sierra Smith led the Mountaineers in the women's 200 meters, placing second with a personal best of 24.65.
Graduate student
Alexia Moehling stopped the clock at 8.81 to place third in the women's 60-meter hurdles. Moehling's time moved her to sixth in the App State all-time list. The Mountaineers' 4x400-meter relay team of freshman
Nicole Wells, sophomore
Addison Ollendick-Smith, Adams, and senior
Elizabeth Fuller stopped the clock at 3:58.96 for a third-place finish.
Ranked Mountaineers
In the Sun Belt, senior
Jasmine Donohue ranks third in the women's 5,000 meters while
Taylor Smith rounds out the top-five in the women's long jump.
Five Mountaineers individually rank in the NCAA Southeast Region top-25.
Ashlee Osaji stands 12th in the women's triple jump. In the women's 200 meters,
Sierra Smith and
Jayla Adams rank 19th and 23rd, respectively.
Taylor Smith stands in the top-25 in the women's long jump and women's 60 meters. Donohue stands 24th in the women's 5,000 meters. The 4x400-meter team of Wells, Ollendick-Smith, Adams, and Fuller round out the top-25 in the region.
