Calbert Guest will compete in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Liberty Twilight Qualifier, in Lynchburg, Va. on Wednesday. The men's 3,000-meter steeplechase is slated for 7:20 p.m.
Guest earned Sun Belt Men's Track Athlete of the Week accolades after clocking a personal best of 8:57.83 at the Wake Forest Invitational on April 21 in Winston-Salem, N.C. Guest took sixth overall in the race and moved to fifth in the App State all-time list for the event.
The Fort Collins, Colo. native leads the Sun Belt in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase category. He also ranks 12th in the Southeast Region, 42nd in the East Prelim qualifying list, and 96th in the NCAA overall in the event.
