LAS VEGAS — Seven wrestlers who are current or future members of the App State Wrestling program will compete in Freestyle or Greco-Roman matches at the US Open Wrestling Championship.
The Senior Men's Freestyle action starts Thursday and includes returning App State veteran
Cody Bond at 70 kg.
The U20 Freestyle matches, which will be held Saturday and Sunday, include five App State underclassmen:
Kaden Keiser (65 kg),
Nicholas Grizales (70 kg),
Will Miller (79 kg),
Luke Uliano (79 kg) and
Carson Floyd (92 kg). There is also one App State signee who will be a freshman in 2023-24: Jeremiah Price (70 kg).
Grizales will also compete at 72 kg in U20 Greco-Roman matches, which begin Friday.
The US Open will determine the roster for the United States' world team.
