Angel Elderkin announced the Mountaineers' slate of summer camps on Friday. The Black and Gold will host three camps over the course of the summer. Registration will open on Wednesday, March 22, and all price information can be found on the
Mountaineer Girls Basketball Camp website.
The Mountaineers broke their program record for made 3-point buckets in a season this year, recording 233 and surpassing the previous record of 215 that was set during the 2018-19 campaign. App State also led the Sun Belt in made 3-pointers per game, averaging 7.5. Redshirt senior
Janay Sanders recorded her 1,000th collegiate career point on Feb. 4 and wrapped the season with 1,082 career points, 911 of which she scored during her career at App State. Sophomore
Emily Carver led the Sun Belt in made 3-point buckets as well as 3-point percentage for the season and league-only play. Carver also earned Sun Belt Player of the Week honors on Jan. 17, which made her the second sophomore in program history to earn the league's recognition.
