BOONE, N.C. — App State quarterback
Chase Brice has been named to the watch list for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.
Last season, Brice set App State's single-season record for passing yards with a league-leading 3,337 to go along with season totals of 27 touchdown passes and a 62.1 completion percentage.
The namesake of the Golden Arm Award has a storied history, as Johnny Unitas was an 18-year veteran of the NFL who played his collegiate career at the University of Louisville before joining the Baltimore Colts in 1958.
