Kerns on Boykin: "We are excited about adding Tyree Boykin to the App State family. Tyree fits our playing style and our culture. He is a guard that has a knack for scoring the basketball. He has a tremendous work ethic and desire to want to get better every day. He comes from a wonderful family and his parents are Terry and Nakelia. Please join us in welcoming Tyree and his family to the Mountaineer family!"
The Mountaineers are fresh off their second consecutive year of playing in a national postseason tournament, one year removed from their Sun Belt Championship in 2021.
