PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. — App State Women's Golf completed play at the Golfweek Any Given Tuesday Intercollegiate, with
Hannah Wang closing the 54-hole event in strong fashion.
Wang tied for 43rd place thanks to a 1-over 73 in Wednesday's final round. She had three birdies over the last five holes of the front nine at the True Blue Golf Club.
Layla Meric also had a top-50 finish with help from a second-round 74.
The Mountaineers placed 15th, with Coastal Carolina taking first. Coastal's Tiffany Arafi and Incarnate Word's Ellen Nicholas were co-medalists with 4-under totals.
Sarah Hardin shot a final-round 76 for the Mountaineers, and
Mary-Sears Brown opened the event with a 78.
Meghan Mitchell also competed for App State.
