BOONE, N.C. -- App State men's basketball will host South Alabama on Saturday in the Mountaineers home regular season finale and on Senior Day. Tip is set for approximately 4:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
TICKETS
Single game tickets for the 2021-22 season are on sale and can be purchased by
clicking here. Saturday is a doubleheader with the women's program and a ticket is valid for both contests. Adam Chruch will also perform a postgame concert and a game ticket is required to attend.

- There are no crowd size restrictions at this time.
- Face coverings are required in all indoor areas, regardless of vaccination status. If actively eating, face coverings are not required to be worn
- Face coverings are not required outside the Holmes Convocation Center.
- Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the facility.
THE SERIES
- This will be the 17th meeting between the two schools, with South Alabama leading 12-4.
- App State won the meeting earlier this season by a 72-64 score in Mobile.
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS
- App State fell to Troy on Thursday evening 67-61.
- Donovan Gregory had 17 points, six rebounds five assists and three steals. Adrian Delph added 17 points and a career-high tying four steals, while CJ Huntley also reached double figures with 11 points.
- Delph has reached double figures in scoring in 26 of 28 games this season and sits third in the conference in scoring at 17.1 points.
- Gregory has reached double figures in scoring in six of his last seven contests and is averaging 15.0 points and 6.4 rebounds during that span.
- In conference play, App State leads the league with a 1.28 assist/turnover ratio...The Mountaineers are also committing just 9.9 turnovers per game against conference foes, which leads the Sun Belt.
SCOUTING THE JAGUARS
- South Alabama extended its winning streak to three games with a 71-68 win at Coastal Carolina on Thursday.
- Jay Jay Chandler had 17 points and eight assists, while Charles Manning Jr. and Diante Smith added 15 points each. Kayo Goncalves added nine points off the bench and hit the game winning 3-pointer as time expired.
- As a team, the Jaguars sit second in the conference in scoring offense (73.3 ppg) and scoring defense (63.2 ppg). Their +10.0 scoring margin is tops in the Sun Belt.
- South Alabama received two votes in this week's CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll.
