BOONE, N.C. — The App State women's basketball team will leave Boone for its fourth road game of the season, traveling to Spartanburg, S.C., to clash with Wofford at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be available for streaming on ESPN+.

Emily Carver pulled down a team-high five rebounds. As a team, the Mountaineers tallied 17 points off turnovers, 10 off the bench and nine off fastbreaks. The Black and Gold totaled 24 rebounds and 17 assists, only turning the ball over seven times compared to Davidson's 15.
Through six games, App State ranks second in the Sun Belt for 3-pointers made, averaging 7.3 per game. Sanders, who scored the most points for the Mountaineers in three of six games, currently ranks sixth in the Sun Belt's scoring category, averaging 16.3 points per game. Graduate student

Last Time Against Wofford
App State hosted Wofford last season on Dec. 12, falling to the Terriers 78-65.
Michaela Porter netted 18 points, going 5-for-7 from the charity stripe. Porter also pulled down three rebounds and tallied four assists. The Mountaineers tallied 16 bench points and 36 in the paint.
Scouting Wofford
Wofford is 5-2 (0-0 SoCon) and undefeated at home this season. The Terriers have won their last five games, defeating Coastal Carolina (Nov. 16), High Point (Nov. 19), UNC Wilmington (Nov. 22), Southern Wesleyan (Nov. 28), and Davidson (Nov. 30). Wofford's only losses have come at the hands of Youngstown State and Clemson.
Wofford's top scorer is Rachael Rose, who averages 20 points per game. Following Rose is Jackie Carman, who averages 16.6 points per game. Rose and Carman also lead the team in assists, with Rose averaging 4.3 per game and Carman averaging 2.3 per game.
The Terriers went 17-14 (11-3 SoCon) last season, capping the 2021-22 campaign with an appearance in the WNIT, where they fell to Middle Tennessee. In the SoCon Tournament, the No. 2 seeded Terriers defeated No. 7 seed ETSU before falling to No. 3 seed Furman in the semifinals. During the regular season, Wofford went on a five-game win-streak spanning from Jan. 27 to Feb. 12.
