App State improved to 5-3 overall and has a quartet of Sun Belt Conference games coming up to close out the regular season.

Since the Mountaineers' 2014 FBS debut, App State has the sixth-most wins (85) in the FBS in that span behind just Alabama (111), Clemson (107), Ohio State (101), Georgia (94) and Oklahoma (91).

The Mountaineers' offense racked up 29 first downs and 512 total yards. It was the team's third time this season with more than 500 total yards.

One game after rushing for a season-high 404 yards, App State totaled 287 rushing yards from eight different ball carriers.

Chase Brice completed 17 of 23 passes for 185 yards and four touchdowns, his third game this season with four or more TD passes. Brice's five games at App State with four or more TD passes are second-most in school history behind Taylor Lamb's six such performances.

Kanye Roberts rushed for 57 yards on 11 carries and his second career touchdown.
Anderson Castle had a career-high 67 yards on nine carries with a touchdown.

App State held Robert Morris to just 148 total yards and seven first downs, with only a field goal allowed.

Over their last seven quarters of play, the Mountaineers have allowed two field goals, no touchdowns and 301 total yards.
