About the Mountaineers
Last Time Out
App State fell to Georgia State, 50-48, in the final seconds of Saturday's contest. The Mountaineers came back from an early 14-point deficit to take a 48-47 edge following an 11-0 run late in the fourth period. However, the Panthers scored the final three points of the game. Taylor Hosendove's layup as time expired pushed the Panthers to the win. Lainey Gosnell scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season. Pre Stanley scored 12 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists.

A Win Would
- Snap the Mountaineers' four-game skid.
- Improve the Apps' record to 9-10 overall and 6-7 in Sun Belt action.
- Improve App State's record to 9-7 against Coastal Carolina.
- Earn a fourth straight win on the road for the Apps.

What to Watch for
- In three career games on Coastal Carolina's floor, Gosnell is averaging 16 points, 4.3 rebounds, shooting 47.2 percent from the floor and 45.8 percent from long range. Watch if the senior can continue her success in Conway.
- Coastal Carolina is allowing 101.9 points per 100 possessions this season. See if the Black and Gold can get it going on offense as they are averaging 55.5 points over the four-game skid.
- The Chanticleers are allowing nearly nine 3-pointers per game this season, including 28 over the two games against South Alabama. Watch if the Mountaineers can be successful from beyond the arc.
- Coastal Carolina is averaging 21.4 turnovers per game. Watch if the Mountaineers can turn their defense into offense.
- Janay Sanders is averaging 11.3 points over the last three games and three rebounds. She is shooting 84 percent from the free throw line as well. See if she can continue to provide a spark off the bench.
