- Watch if the Apps can keep the Eagles off the offensive glass, as GS is averaging 19.8 offensive rebounds over the last five games (3-2).
- See if the Mountaineers can force GS to make mistakes this weekend. The Eagles averaged 30 turnovers in two games against North Central, while Georgia Southern has committed at least 20 miscues in 14 contests.
- In the first matchup, the Eagles hit 20 3-pointers against App State, including 14 in the first contest. Watch if the defense can limit the conference's third-best 3-point shooting team.
- Over the last three games, Porter is averaging 12.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.7 steals, shooting 50 percent from the field, and 45 percent from beyond the arc. Watch if the senior continues to get it done on both ends of the floor.
- During the 3-1 stretch, the Apps have four players averaging double figures while two players are averaging at least six points. See if the Black and Gold can keep up the balanced scoring.
