BOONE, N.C. — Join us at the men's basketball game against Texas State on Saturday, Feb. 8 for a celebration of a record-setting, championship football season.
This past fall, the Mountaineers won a fourth straight Sun Belt Championship and a fifth bowl game in as many tries to cap a 13-1 season in which they finished No. 18 in the Amway Coaches Poll and No. 19 in the AP Top 25. They also set a single-season record for wins by an FBS program from the state of North Carolina.
Tip-off for the basketball game is 4 p.m. at the Holmes Convocation Center. Members of the football team will be signing autographs in the concourse prior to the game. Commemorative posters will be available, and head coach
