BURLINGTON, N.C. - In its third tournament of the 2019 fall season, Appalachian State finished the two-day, three-round Elon Invitational in a tie for fourth place in the team standings.
App State (300-289-297, 886) tied with Gardner-Webb in the team standings, behind team champion College of Charleston, runner-up Wofford and third-place Elon.

Abby Bolt and freshman
Hannah Wang led the Mountaineers with a tie for 19th place individually. Both shot 8-over-par at 221, with Bolt posting rounds of 73, 72 and 76 and Wang carding rounds of 75, 74 and 72.
Also finishing in the top 30 for the Mountaineers were junior
C.C. Ganim (74-72-80, 226, +13) in a tie for 25th and junior
Mogie Adamchik (78-71-79, 228, +15) in a tie for 27th. Junior
Sarah Hardin completed the App State lineup at 18-over (83-78-70, 231) to tie for 36th. Hardin's third-round 70 was tied for third-best of any individual during Tuesday's third round.
Over the course of the tourney, Wang's 10 birdies were tied for third-most of any golfer, and Bolt's 36 pars were tied for eighth-most.
App State returns to the links on Oct. 7 for the Winthrop Fall Invitational in Rock Hill, S.C.
