BOONE, N.C. — Walk-on tryouts for the Appalachian State football team will be held on Monday, Aug. 19, after practice ends at approximately 5 p.m. in Kidd Brewer Stadium.
App State students interested in trying out must have all the required paperwork (a completed physical, a sickle cell blood test, proof of insurance) turned in via an email to director of player personnel

blaylockac@appstate.edu by noon on Friday, Aug. 16.
If all of the paperwork is not turned in by then, the student will not be permitted to try out.
Tryout candidates should wear athletic apparel and bring cleats. They will report to a table set up under the concourse on the home side of Kidd Brewer Stadium.
