CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Appalachian State men's track & field will compete in its final meet before the Sun Belt Championships at the Virginia Grand Prix on Friday and Saturday. Friday features all field events and will begin with the long jump at 5 p.m. Saturday's field events for the men begin at noon with the shot put, with running events starting at 3:45 p.m. with the 4x100-meter relay.
LAST TIME OUT
Elliott Graves posted a pair of sixth-place finishes in the 110-meter hurdles (14.36, season-best) and 400-meter hurdles (52.92).
John Fravel notched a PR in the 800-meter run in 1:56.29 and
Gable Dershem shattered his PR by nearly 30 seconds with a time of 14:56.66.

With this being the final meet before the Sun Belt Championships, App State has 13 of the top-10 marks in the Sun Belt:

NCAA EAST REGIONAL RANKINGS
The NCAA East Regional Championships take place in Jacksonville, Fla. from May 23 to May 25. The top 48 individuals in each event and top 24 relay teams qualify for the regional. The Mountaineers currently have six individuals across seven events ranked in the top-100 in the region:
