BOONE, N.C. — App State's first home dual of the 2019-20 wrestling season brings No. 6 NC State to Varsity Gym on Friday night.
The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
Tickets, which cost $10 for adults and $5 for children, can be purchased by
clicking HERE, contacting the ticket office at
828-262-2079 or going to the App State athletics ticket office located at the Holmes Center. It is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
With Friday being the first home dual, season tickets remain available for $35 (adults) and $15 (youth) by
clicking HERE for an online purchase. The 2019-20 wrestling season is presented by Hungry Howies.
Magnets will be given away to fans attending the App State/NC State dual.
The Mountaineers (0-1) opened their dual schedule on Dec. 1 at No. 18 North Carolina and trailed 15-13 heading into the final match of a 19-13 loss. The unbeaten start for the Wolfpack (6-0) involves wins against ODU (22-11), Belmont Abbey (36-6), UNCP (40-3), Reinhardt (45-0), No. 15 Cornell (25-9) and Binghamton (28-9).
There could be several rematches from the Wolfpack Open on Nov. 17, when
Jonathan Millner won 6-2 against NC State's A.J. Leitten, NC State's Daniel Bullard edged
Thomas Flitz 8-6, NC State's Jarrett Trombley won 3-2 against
Codi Russell an NC State's Hayden Hidlay pulled out a 3-2 decision against
Matt Zovistoski.
