BOONE, N.C. – App State faces UAB in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 21, and a free game ticket will be available to the first 500 App State students who reserve.
To reserve a ticket, students must visit the athletics ticket office at the Holmes Convocation Center or call 828-262-2079 and reference this special offer that runs Wednesday (Dec. 11) and Thursday (Dec. 12) from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day. Once reserved, the ticket can be picked up on game day, Dec. 21, at Gate B of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, 90 minutes prior to the 8 p.m. CT kickoff.
If inclement weather leads to campus being closed during the above times, the ticket office will not be open/answering calls.
For students who already have purchased a game ticket, they can visit or call the ticket office to receive a refund and reserve a free ticket in New Orleans.
The Mountaineers will be playing a postseason game in New Orleans for the second time. App State made FBS history by winning its first four bowl games and also just captured its fourth consecutive Sun Belt Championship.
