BOONE, N.C. - App State men's tennis returns to action this weekend at the River City Tennis Open hosted by Richmond in Richmond, Va.

App State had the week off after posting 11 wins at the CofC Invitational in the fall opener two weeks ago, with six of the wins came in doubles play, including a 4-0 showing against the Cougars on the first day of the event. The three singles wins against the hosts were the most against any of the three squads. The duos of

Alessio Azzalini each picked up a pair of wins, while Radionov claimed two singles victories. Nine of the Mountaineers posted at least one victory over the weekend whether in singles or doubles competition.
