App State Offering 200 Free Bowl Tickets for Students

BOONE, N.C. – Appalachian State faces Middle Tennessee in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl on Dec. 15, and a free game ticket will be available to the first 200 App State students who reserve one by contacting the ticket office at the Holmes Center.

To reserve a ticket, students must visit the ticket office or call the ticket office at 828-262-2079 and reference this special offer continuing next week on Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day. Once reserved, the ticket can be picked up on game day, Dec. 15, at Gate H of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, 90 minutes prior to the 8 p.m. CT kickoff.

If inclement weather leads to campus being closed Monday or any other day next week, the ticket office will not be open/answering calls that day.

For students who already have purchased a game ticket, they can visit or call the ticket office to receive a refund and reserve a free ticket in New Orleans.

The Mountaineers will be playing a postseason game in New Orleans for the first time after making FBS history by winning their first three bowl games, all of which were played in Alabama.
