BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State Wrestling returns to action Tuesday night with a dual meet at No. 7 NC State.

It will be the third top-15 opponent in six duals for the Mountaineers, who hosted the Wolfpack in Boone last season and had close matches involving
Alan Clothier (184 pounds),
Randall Diabe (197) and
Thomas Flitz (165 last season, now at 174).
Diabe has a team-best 4-1 record in duals this season, as he's won against a pair of then-15th-ranked teams in Rutgers and North Carolina.
Irvin Enriquez (141),
Angel Najar (157) and
Jonathan Millner (149) all have three dual wins, while
Michael Elliott (165) leads the team with 12 overall victories.
App State (2-3) will take on an NC State team that's 4-0 with victories against Davidson, Reinhardt, UNC Pembroke and Old Dominion.
Seven of the Wolfpack's potential starters have top-20 individual rankings: No. 7 Sean Fausz at 125, No. 4 Tariq Wilson at 133, No. 5 Justin Oliver at 149, No. 2 Hayden Hidlay at 157, No. 19 Thomas Bullard at 165, No. 17 Daniel Bullard at 174 and No. 6 Nick Reenan at 184.
