Career: All-American at 149 pounds in 2021 and 2022 … Four-time SoCon champion and NCAA qualifier (2020 NCAAs were canceled due to Covid and missed 2023 NCAAs due to illness) ... Career record of 121-24, including 100-12 in his four years as a starter (with half of those losses coming in NCAA competition via a 3-3 mark in 2021 and 5-3 mark in 2022) ... Became first App State wrestler and first SoCon wrestler since 2015 to win four straight SoCon titles ... Finished with a 41-0 career record in SoCon duals and tournament matches — the highest win total with no losses in the league’s modern history (30-0 in duals, 11-0 in tournament matches) ... Was seeded 9th for the NCAAs before missing the event with an illness ... The 13-1 dual record pushed his record in duals to 44-2 in his four years as a full-time starter, including a streak of 34 straight dual wins ... Of the 29 wins, 19 were bonus-point victories, with 11 pins and seven major decisions ... 2021-22: All-American at 149 pounds and SoCon Wrestler of the Year ... Sixth-place finish at the 2022 NCAA Championships in Detroit ... Went 24-4 during a 2021-22 season in which he joined Mark Fee (2002-03) and Charles Parks (1939, 1941) as two-time NCAA All-Americans from App State ... Went 11-0 in duals, including 7-0 in SoCon duals ... Had 11 wins with bonus points (five pins, four major decisions, two tech falls) ... After a 1-1 opening day at the NCAAs, went 4-0 on Day 2 with an 8-1 decision against eighth-seeded Max Murin of Iowa to earn All-America honors and a 9-4 decision against fifth-seeded Kyle Parco of Arizona State in the next match ... In dual win against Campbell, won a 3-2 decision against fourth-ranked Josh Heil in the first matchup of two top-10 SoCon wrestlers ... Won a 5-4 decision against Heil in the SoCon final to finish 3-0 against the Campbell standout ... Turned a defensive position at the edge of the mat into a second-period takedown and a 3-0 lead against Murin before taking a 3-1 lead into the third period, staying on top for the entire two minutes and extending the margin with a four-point near fall in the closing seconds ... Against Parco, gave up an early takedown, responded with a reversal, trailed 3-2 after one period, then delivered an escape and recorded a takedown en route to building riding time to 1:44 by staying on top for the rest of the period. Another takedown in the first 15 seconds of the third period put Millner in clear control ... Used a second-period rideout, a quick reversal in the third and a key takedown with 19 seconds left to beat Van Brill ... Recorded another second-period rideout, a third-period escape and a takedown in the closing seconds to shut out Realbuto.
 
2020-21 (Didn't count against eligibility because of COVID): All-American at 149 pounds … Eighth-place finish at the 2021 NCAA Championships in St. Louis … Southern Conference champion and an automatic NCAA qualifier for the second straight season … All-SoCon honoree … 16-4 record included a 13-1 record heading to St. Louis, an 8-0 record in SoCon duals, a 2-0 record at the SoCon Championship tournament and a 3-3 mark at the NCAAs … Qualified for the NCAAs with a 2-0 shutout of Campbell’s Joshua Heil in a showdown of top-15 wrestlers in the SoCon final, where he rode out the second period to build a two-minute advantage in riding time and officially took a 1-0 lead with an escape early in the third period … Seeded No. 7 in St. Louis, clinched All-America status by jumping out to a 7-0 lead in a 10-7 decision against Duke's Josh Finesilver as the 149-pound bracket shrunk from 12 wrestlers to eight … Started 2-0 at NCAAs to reach quarterfinals, where he lost a 5-2 decision to eventual NCAA champion of Austin O’Connor of North Carolina … Posted a 7-3 decision against Anthony Cheloni from Northern Illinois before accumulating three takedowns in the first period of a 9-8 decision against Triston Lara from Northern Iowa to reach the quarterfinals … After the win over Finesilver, dropped a 9-5 decision against Fresno State's Kyle Parco and then lost a 5-3 decision against Stanford's Jaden Abas in the seventh-place match … Accounted for 40 team points while going 9-0 in App State’s duals … Eight of 13 wins prior to NCAAs were worthy of bonus points … Opened season with 5-3 decision against NC State’s Ed Scott, a fourth-place ACC finisher … Had two wins by major decision (13-1 and 10-2) against 2020 NCAA qualifier and ranked opponent Selwyn Porter of The Citadel, with the eight-point victory coming in the SoCon semifinals.

2019-20: Went 31-4 in his first year as the full-time starter at 149 pounds … SoCon champion and No. 18 seed for the NCAA Championships that were canceled by the coronavirus pandemic … With 31 wins, tied for the 12th-most victories on App State’s single-season list … Ranked No. 15 in the RPI and No. 16 by the Coaches Panel following conference championship weekend … Went 11-1 in App State’s duals and 7-0 in SoCon duals … Started the season 12-0 and ended the season with 12 straight wins … Had 10 wins by major decision to tie for No. 8 nationally and rank No. 1 nationally among wrestlers at 149 pounds … Three wins over Chattanooga's Tanner Smith (No. 22 seed for NCAAs), including a 6-2 decision in the SoCon final. Won quarterfinal and semifinal matches by major decision … Also first place at the Mountaineer Invitational, Wolfpack Open … Fourth place at the Southern Scuffle and second place at the Keystone Classic … Other notable victories came against Stanford's Requir van der Merwe and NC State's AJ Leitten, who were in the top 33 of the final Coaches Panel rankings, as well as NCAA qualifier Selwyn Porter of The Citadel … Three of four losses came against wrestlers seeded 14th and 17th at the NCAAs as well as the ACC’s third-place finisher.

2018-19: Named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman Team … Was in App State’s lineup at 149 pounds for the first five duals (3-2) and finished the season with a 21-9 record … First place at the Mat Town II Open (4-0) and went 3-0 at the Appalachian Open to join teammate Matt Zovistoski in an uncontested final round … Dual participation included a 7-4 decision against Ohio … Placed sixth in the Keystone Classic and went 4-2 at the Southern Scuffle ... Member of the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

2017-18: Competing unattached as a redshirting freshman, went 11-8 … Went 3-2 with two pins at the Hokie Open … Went 3-2 with a pin, a major decision and a win by sudden victory takedown at the Wolfpack Open …  Went 4-2 with a pin and a major decision at the Cleveland State Open.

High School: State champion at Ben L. Smith, where he won the 4-A title at 138 pounds with a major decision to cap a 55-1 season … NUWAY national champion … Conference wrestler of the year … Three-time all-conference … First and second places in region … Coached by Joey Gladson.
