Appalachian State will look to continue its good play at home where the Mountaineers are 5-2 this season inside the Holmes Center. The Mountaineers are seeking to end a three-game losing skid with just its third home conference game out of their first seven. Tipoff between the Mountaineers and Mavericks is set for 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

• Appalachian State dropped its second game of its road trip to Georgia State on Monday, 83-72.
• Tyrell Johnson set a new career-high with 22 points on 6-for-8 shooting to lead the Mountaineers on Monday.
