BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's basketball will hold three camps in June and August for all age ranges.
Three camps will put an emphasis on different areas of the game, ranging from individual techniques to team camp.
“We love hosting these camps every year teaching basketball to players that love the game,” said head coach
Angel Elderkin. “The coaching staff and I are excited to teach the fundamentals and watch the development of the campers over the duration of the sessions.”
June 13-16 | Women's Basketball Day Camp | Fees: 150$Day camp will teach and instruct rising 2nd-9th graders the game of basketball while enduring a positive learning experience from the Appalachian coaching staff. A focus will be put on fundamentals, individual offense and defense and shooting techniques. An App State t-shirt along with lunch, awards and prizes will be included during camp.

HEREJune 24-26 | Women's Basketball Team Camp | Fees: 50, 90, 175$Campers will get to experience the campus lifestyle and atmosphere as a stay in on-campus dorms are included in the camp package. Junior varsity and varsity squads are guaranteed six games while playing in the Holmes Convocation Center and Varsity Gym. Each player will be given an App State t-shirt, and awards will be handed out to teams for best defensive team, best offensive team, best rebounding team, best shooting team and the team that shows the best sportsmanship.

HEREAugust 20 | Elite Camp | Fees: 75$Elite camp will give student-athletes a half day to experience the day in the life of an App State basketball student-athlete on the court. The drills and activities that are designed to develop division I college basketball student-athletes will be used to teach campers. From basic fundamentals to more advanced levels, campers that are rising 9th-12th graders will be taught from the basic fundamentals of the game to more advanced levels of basketball, including the experience to learn head coach
Angel Elderkin's unique system on offense.
