BOONE, N.C. — Fans can catch all of the exciting action of Appalachian State University men's and women's basketball in 2015-16 for $100 or less by purchasing season tickets, which are on sale now.

A 2015-16 Appalachian State basketball season ticket, which reserves a seat for all 29 games at the Holmes Center in 2015-16 (14 men's, 15 women's), costs just $100 for adults, $80 for senior citizens (ages 60+) and Appalachian State faculty/staff and $50 for youth (ages 3-12).

“One of the many things that we learned in our first season in the Sun Belt Conference is that basketball programs in this league have great fan support and that support helps lift home teams to wins on the court,” Appalachian State women's basketball head coach Angel Elderkin said. “That was never more evident than when our home crowd helped lift our team to a come-from-behind win over Sun Belt power Arkansas State and when the Holmes Center was rocking during the men's win over eventual conference champion Georgia State. This season, we need your support more than ever as our teams try to take the next step and cut down the nets as Sun Belt champs! In addition to season tickets for all 29 App State home games, tickets to see the Mountaineer men take on Hofstra in the World's Most Famous Arena, New York's Madison Square Garden, are also on sale and can be purchased through the Appalachian State athletics ticket office. Tickets for the Dec. 6 matchup in New York City cost just $40.  

“As we conclude summer practice, I couldn't be more excited for the upcoming season,” Appalachian State men's basketball head coach Jim Fox said. “We have a schedule that puts our team and University on a national stage — you may even say a Broadway stage! Now, we need your help. Our army is growing but we want even more. Our student-athletes and coaches need your support.
