PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Appalachian State University men's track and field finished the Penn Relays on Saturday with two athletes competing in the men's triple jump.

Henry Bustle placed 14th in the triple jump event with a mark of 47-4.25, while Isaiah Relliford placed 27th with a jump of 45-9.25.

Several Appalachian athletes also spent the weekend competing at the Highlander Invitational at Radford.

Matt Layne placed second in the pole vault event, clearing a height of 15-6 for a new personal best. Phillip Thomas finished fourth in the pole vault with a height of 15-1.  

The Mountaineers will return to action on May 2 when they host the Mountaineer Open.
