Indoor:
• Finished third in the pole vault with a season’s best height of 16-4.5 (4.99m) at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships
• Took first in the pole vault with a clearance of 16-0.75 (4.90m) at the Chipotle Marshall Invitational
• Won the pole vault competition at the Buccaneer Invitational with a final height of 16-2.75 (4.95m)
• Grabbed first place in the pole vault at the Mountaineer Indoor Open Track Meet with a clearance of 15-7.25 (4.76m)
• Placed seventh in the pole vault at the Kentucky Invitational (15-7 (4.75m))
• Took third in the pole vault clearing the bar at 15-11 (4.85m) at the David E. Walker Kickoff Classic
• Opened up the season at the Appalachian Open Indoor Track Meet in the pole vault and took second (15-7 (4.75m))
Outdoor:
• Competed at the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the pole vault and cleared 16-4.75 (5.00m) to place 31st
• Took third in the pole vault with a PR of 16-9.25 (5.11m) at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships
• Finished second at the Charlotte Invitational with a vault of 15-11 (4.85)
• Recorded a third-place finish in the pole vault at the War Eagle Invitational (16-6.75 (5.05m))
• Placed sixth in the pole vault at the HPU VertKlasse Meeting (15-7.75 (4.77m))
• Opened up the season in the pole vault at the Wake Forest Open jumping 15-10.5 (4.84m) to take fifth
2014-15
Indoor:
• Set a new PR in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.95 at Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup (20th place/preliminary round)
• Won the pole vault three times including the Hoke Invite (15-5.75), the Mountaineer Open Indoor (15-2.25) and the Appalachian Indoor Open Split (15-7.25)
• That mark of 15-7.25 is good for 10th in school history
• His final top-five indoor finish was fourth in the PV at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships (15-2.25)
Outdoor:
• Won the PV at the App State Open Outdoor with a height of 16-0.75
• Set a new PR in that event with a mark of 16-2.75 at the Wake Forest Open (second place/second in program history)
• Also took third at the High Point VertKlasse PV (15-7.75) and fourth at the Radford Invite's PV (15-1.5)
2013-14
Indoor:
• Placed second in pole vault at the Appalachian Indoor Invite
• Placed third in pole vault with a PR of 15’ 8.25” at the Mountaineer Indoor Open
• Took third at the Appalachian Pre-Conference meet in pole vault
• SoCon Indoor Champion in pole vault
Outdoor:
• Took fifth at the Wake Forest Open
• Placed third at the Liberty Invite and fifth at the Carolina’s Cup
• Finished fourth in the 110H at the Charlotte Invite
• Set a PR in the 110H with a time of 15.80 and took eighth at the SoCon Outdoor Championships
• Finished sixth at the SoCon Outdoor Championships in pole vault
• Placed fifth at the Hokie Twilight meet.
High School
• Prepped at Cary High School under head coach Jerry Dotson
• Named all-conference in pole vault and low hurdles as a sophomore
• Was the conference champion in pole vault in his junior and senior campaigns
• Was the state champion in the pole vault event during his senior year
• Earned all-region honors during his junior season
• Broke the school pole vault record four times, while tying the Wake County pole vault record
• Was also named first-team all-conference in football as a senior
• Plans to major in appropriate technology/sustainability
