KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Appalachian State University men's track and field completed their second day of competition on Saturday at the Tennessee Relays.
Marshall McRae placed in the top-25 in both the 100m dash and 200m dash. He first recorded a time of 10.78 in the 100 meters, before posting a time of 22.24 in the 200 meters.
Michael Ellis highlighted the day by placing tenth in the 5,000m run, earning a personal best time of 14:28.97. The time ranks him ninth all-time in the Appalachian record books.
The Mountaineer 4x100 relay team of Clay Allen, William Buckley, Kimani Hoffman and McRae placed fourth at the meet with a time of 41.47.
The Apps will return to action when they travel to the UNC Charlotte Open on April 17-18.
