Appalachian State University women's soccer be back on the road this weekend starting in Harrisonburg, Md. with a match against James Madison at 5 p.m. on Friday. Then on Sunday, the Mountaineers will travel to Radford for a match slated to kick off at 1 p.m.

• The Mountaineers handled Belmont and won 4-1, but lost to George Mason on Sunday, 2-0.
• Sam Childress scored her fourth of the season to net the first goal against Belmont. Leah Drawdy connected on her first of the season on a penalty kick. Drawdy's goal also proved to be the game-winner.
• Erin Settle scored her second in the match, while Jane Cline tallied her first of the season. Julia Holz, Jenna Caudle and Kebrina Keys all collected assists in the contest.

• James Madison comes into the match on Friday sporting a 4-3 overall record, including a 3-1 mark at home.
• Of the team's four wins this season, they are highlighted by a 2-1 win at No. 24 Wake Forest.
• Ashley Herndon, Sydney Braun-McLeod and Katie Hyland all share the team lead with two goals each so far this season. Both Herndon and Sam Lofton have tallied three assists. Herndon leads the team in shots with 14.
• Ellen Forrest has received the bulk of the playing time in net and has 25 saves with a 1.30 goals against average and nine goals against for a .735 save percentage.

• Radford will enter the weekend with a 1-4-1 overall record and will play VMI on Friday before entertaining App State. Their lone win came against Southern Virginia by a 7-0 final.
• Kara Wade leads the Highlanders in goals with three. Jordan Lundin is right behind with two goals and there five other players who each have a goal a piece. Wade also leads the team with 14 shots. Three players are tied with two assists each.
• Katie McCormick has received most of the playing time between the pipes and has 34 saves with a 1.57 goals against average and has allowed nine goals with a .791 save percentage.
